Hiiii everyone!!
Another week at the CCM and only 1 week and half until I'm in mizzzouuuu!!! I can't tell y'all how stoked I am to go grocery shopping when I get to the states!!! Definitely gonna buy some of my charcuterie necessities! I'm stoked to go back to the states lol! Everyone in my sistrict are talking all about their missions and showering outta buckets and boy am I blessed to be heading to STL!!!
Being at the CCM low-key feels like I'm in the hungergames without all the dying and fighting. Like every night there's a bunch of "fireworks" that are so loud. I make the joke that I look up at the sky when I hear one to see who from the other districts didn't make it... (that's a hunger games joke if u didn't get it). Also, Monday, there was a huge huge fire right outside of the CCM and the whole night it was raining ashes! We weren't allowed to be outside for obvious reasons but seriously, I'm in the hunger games. Jokes jokes but that was kinda wild!
Honestly, another week in and I feel so old here. New people come in every Tuesday and they ask me what week I am and I'm like "oh week 5".. wild that I have been here for that long..

THIS WEEK I MET MY COUSIN!! jk but for real crazy story! When I was in a class this week, an Elder, (Elder Lesueur) just yells "Hey Hermana Kimball we're related" and I'm like "what" he told me that we both have the same Aunt Brittny, and same cousins.. Cason, Kinsley, Ryleigh, and Taylor. So I'm pretty sure that doesn't make us actually related but we've just been telling everyone that we are cousins! Small world for reals!
Another, Elder got dear johned this week.. it's really unfortunate how many people are getting broken up with out here.. it's pretty dangerous. I'm trynna lay low so I don't catch this trend...
Since, I don't have much to update y'all on, here's my peak memory from the week. Tuesday, Hermana Gines and I were playing our usual game and guessing people's first names. Although, this time they were trying to guess our names. So, as they are trying to guess Hermana Gines' first name, the Elder asks "How am I doing? Am I getting hot or cold?" And in the comidor as loud as she could talk says "UR HOT".. it was mega awkward and the whole comidor stared at us... but it was pretty funny.

This week my fav district left. They were our zone leaders and STL's and boy am I gonna miss them so much! What this means is basically our whole ultimate frisbee team are now out on their missions! These missionaries are some of the greatest people I've ever met and they are going to change lives. Adios 8C :( (this also means Weaver is officially gone, seriously so sad)
Anyways! The temple is still bomb and beautiful here! Def going to miss the Mexico City Temple!!! I'm so blessed to be able to go everyweek here! Also, people keep asking if Spencer W. Kimball and I are related and usually I just nod my head yes.. I mean maybe somewhere down the line.. they don't need to know how close.. and technically I’m not lying, so it's giving me a pretty good rep around here 😉.

For my spiritual thought this week I just want to talk about gratitude!!! I'm blessed in a million ways and I think we should all recognize how much we have to be grateful for!!! I've been trying to say a lot of grateful prayers recently because genuinely I'm so blessed! So, I just invite y'all to realize how incredibly blessed you are! Look for reasons to be grateful this week!! I love and miss you all to pieces! Feel free to write me! Also, HAPPY ONE MONTH!!! See y'all soon 😉 (17 more to go!!) Remember God loves you and HE IS SO GOOD!!!
