Goodness it feels like I haven't had a P-day in weeks lol! But I'm finally back! Happy week 8!!! Whoop whoop! This has been the craziest adjustment of a week! So let me tell y'all all about it!! 

This past week I finished my time up at the CCM!! It was seriously so amazing and so sad. I have met the greatest friends and the greatest missionaries. The world is truly blessed because they have the bestest humans heading their way! Quick shout out to 5A for being my adopted district.. I miss them. Then of course so many other amazing people! I just loved my time at the CCM and I am forever grateful!

My hardest goodbye had to be Hermana Gines, she's the coolest funniest person ever! We seriously became best friends the past 6 weeks and she will always be my fav fake comp! Lol!

Anyways, let's talk about "the field" now.. Which BTW the field is what they call your real missions after the MTC/CCM period. Which I figured out why because this is wayyy different then the MTC. Like for reals the MTC was beautiful, sunny, and with a bunch of missionaries all day. Here in St. Louis, it's cold, scary, and we are really out here in the real world lol!

So Thursday morning, at 1 am I started the travel day to Mizzou!!! I got on the bus headed to the airport and waited for my flight at 5 am! I waited with about 5 other missionaries and we were all waiting for our flight to Dallas. The missionaries I was traveling with were all heading to missions in Utah except for 1 other missionary, Hermana Singletary. Hermana Singletary and I were both heading to St. Louis. When we got to Dallas we ran into 2 Elders who were heading to their original assignments after they had temporarily come from stateside missions waiting for visas. One of the Elders happened to be coming from St. Louis, which was awesome. We got to talk to him all about the mission. 

Anyways, as soon as Hermana Singletary and I finished talking to these missionaries we went straight to Chick-Fil-A! Six weeks without it. So we were pretty excited! We then got on a small plane to St. Louis! As soon as we got to St. Louis, we went straight to the temple to meet our mission president. He then shipped us off with missionaries and we got to knock doors in the afternoon. That's where we met some pretty awesome people interested in the gospel! After knocking doors, we headed to the mission home, ate dinner, then went straight to bed because we were EXHAUSTED!!! It was the best sleep ever!

The next day, Friday I got my TRAINER WHOOP WHOOP.  For my friends who don't know, it's my companion who trains me lol,  pretty explanatory. Anyways, usually your trainer is supposed to be a good chunk into her mission like a good decent 7 months at the minimum but.. fun fact. My trainer Hermana Larsen is only 6 weeks into her mission here. It's pretty funny. So she's super new too! 

All the members feel bad because we are both super new but we get around nicely! Her Spanish is super good and mine is pretty good, so we have been holding up pretty well! All the members feel bad so we have a bunch of member meals this week because they want to feed us lol! Which I'm down for! 

Let me tell y'all I have the greatest trainer tho! We both are figuring it out everyday but she really is the coolest! She went to BYU before her mission too so we were there the same time lol. We actually both dm'd about how we were going to the same mission. Pretty funny she's my first comp! But seriously we are the best of friends!! It's pretty legit!!! 

Being in St. Louis has been just a bit tough, the adjustment is harder than I thought, but everyday it gets a little better! So that's really nice! Some crazy things that have happened so far.. 1) While some guy was driving past us and he put his head out the window and I thought he was going to yell us... I wish he would of. Nope. He just started throwing up while driving. Just profusely barfing.. nasty. 2) We also have a lot of weed smokers talk to us, but we just walk by. They are wild 3)  We have learned, some Latin men we teach, are just there to flirt with us... so we just pass them to the Elders. Awkward. 

But ya. Life in St. Louis has been wild! I can email y'all on Monday for now on, so shoot me a email! I love and miss you all so much! 

My spiritual thought has a lot to do with last Tuesday. It was my best friend's Emma's birthday! I love Emma so much and I genuinely can feel her support for me! Her love is so immense in my heart. Emma is one if the greatest humans in the whole world and I live everyday to love the way she did! One scripture that has been close to my heart this week is D&C 84:88 "And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up."

Know that you are all so loved so much and angels are cheering you on! I love and miss you all to pieces!
