HIII Y'ALL!!!
Happiest of P-days everyone! this week has been wild, happy, stressed, and very blessed! St. Louis puts me through all of the emotions! In the mornings I wake up and it's dark out and I just want to stay in bed, but we get up at 6:30 and we go exercise. And guys.. I have been running. My comp runs like everyday, so in my competitive mind it's been forcing me to run just as long. (It's good peer pressure) If you know me, you know I hate to run, but I have grown to love it! It's probably cause I'm on my mission though, it'll probably fade. (Jk hopefully not)

This week Hermana Larsen and I have been prioritizing seeking and expecting miracles! And it has been wild! We literally are expecting miracles each day and have had our minds blown! Because God has always provided! One example of this would be that one day, all of our lessons canceled on us last minute. We were pretty sad so we decided to go knock some doors! And after some knocking and a pretty scary interaction with a guy who tried to give us a hug and who was definitely high.. we met Heidi! (Btw we did run away from him so we were good)

Anyways, we knocked on Heidi's door and she was happy to hear our message. She told us that she actually was a member a long time ago. 40 years ago actually. She said her family left the church and she just never went back. But she said that she would love to come back with us. She said she loved going to church when she was younger and would love to come again! It was just a great miracle because we knew we were on that street, at that time, for her!

Also, y'all guess what? Two weeks in Mizzou and I already have a baptism here! Our friend Alonso is scheduled to get baptized this Friday and I am stoked! We get to plan and coordinate the whole thing. We teach Alonso five times a week because he just loves the gospel so much. He told us that he needed to change his life because his wife (who recently passed) came to him in a dream and told him to get closer to Christ. So he sent himself in as a referral to take lessons with us, and now is getting baptized! It's seriously all so exciting and I'm so blessed to be a part of it!

We also had zone conference this past week and it was actually so fun! We got to see about 120 other missionaries serving in St Louis and hear from the mission president! It was actually a ton of fun. I also got to pick up my package from my mama with all my winter clothes!!! #blessed
Except Missouri is so bipolar, this past week the high was 45 degrees but then this past weekend it was 85 degrees! It's pretty crazy but happy spring y'all!

My comp and I get along super great! We are actually great friends, but she's the only one who can drive right now until my license is approved and it's affecting our relationship… jk not really! But she asks why I'm always car sick when she's drives and then she stops super suddenly for a bird to cross the street… A BIRD!!! I guess it's a sign I need to be kinder to animals lol!

Hermana Larsen is actually the greatest, she very much has a go go go mentality and everyone deserves Jesus Christ’s eternal salvation! Which means we talk to like 80 different Latinos everyday sharing our good message of Jesus Christ!

This week we also met a single mom named Frangeny and she has two sons! She was so eager to learn about the church and she basically asked us if she could be baptized! And her sons were jumping on the opportunity to be baptized as well! It was seriously the coolest experience! Big blessings this week y'all! So pray for them these next couple of weeks and pray they don't move to Chicago!

Easter was definitely my favorite day this week! If I'm being honest this past week was pretty hard, it was the first time I actually felt homesick but it's all just the adjustment period! Just learning how to be a missionary everyday, but everyday gets better! And Easter this week was a blessing! All week we worked so hard on telling people how important it is to come to church this Sunday!!! And it paid off!  After contacting probably 100 people to come to church, 10 actually came!!! Guys this is big news!

Since all of our members were visiting their families this week for Easter it was almost like half of our congregation were just our friends we met this past week!
(btw friends means the people we are teaching)! Also, tender-mercy for Easter but my comp and I forgot to pack a dinner for that night, luckily we got a message from one of the members that they wanted us over for dinner! This was huge!!! The food was just so amazing and we had a coconut chocolate cake! My fav ever! But a blessing that the Lord always provides! Also one of the members gave us missionaries chocolate bunnies for Easter and it really reminded me of home! God is in the details for reals y'all!

Guys! I am so blessed! God knows us so personally! When I got my call to St. Louis, As many of y'all know, I was so confused.. like why would the Lord send me here? But y'all the Lord's plans are so perfect! Because I am basically in the stateside version of Honduras! The people we teach are from all over Latin America by 85% of the people we teach are from Honduras.. How awesome is that?!?! It has been the best because I instantly get to connect with them and tell them about when I lived there, and how much i love it there! We have so many of our friends who have invited us over to enjoy baleadas with them! Also my DL is from Honduras! Can y'all believe that?!! I'm so grateful that the Lord makes it obvious how he knows us so personally!!

This week we got to celebrate Easter and it was just the best! I love Easter and I am just so grateful for Jesus Christ! For my spiritual thought this week I wanted to just share the 2 scriptures that we share a ton here, but are just so special!! 3 Nephi 11:14-15

“14 Arise and come forth unto me, that ye may thrust your hands into my side, and also that ye may feel the prints of the nails in my hands and in my feet, that ye may know that I am the God of Israel, and the God of the whole earth, and have been slain for the sins of the world. 15 And it came to pass that the multitude went forth, and thrust their hands into his side, and did feel the prints of the nails in his hands and in his feet; and this they did do, going forth one by one until they had all gone forth, and did see with their eyes and did feel with their hands, and did know of a surety and did bear record, that it was he, of whom it was written by the prophets, that should come.”

Just how amazing It that our Savior, Jesus Christ, died for us? He sacrificed his life for us, and for our sins to be erased. I am forever grateful for my Redeemer, my brother, Jesus Christ! I love you all and remember that you are saved through Him!!

I love you all and I think about you guys so much! Look for miracles this week and ways to serve!!! GOD IS SO GOOD!
