What up everyone!!! Welcome back! I hope you are all killin' it this week! This week was good and scary and awesome!!!!

We had a zone conference this week!! Which was so cool! Elder Bennett from the seventy came and spoke to us for 4 ½ hours. Which you would think was lame and boring but it was actually super fun! He is such a great speaker and honestly got me hyped to keep working! He spoke lots about being all in on your mission, which usually bugs me because I'm like what.. I'm already here. But it got me hyped this time. Because there are always ways I need to improve and I have so many good ideas on how to get our friends progressing!! He told us to “behave like an apostle here” which was cool because he said that as soon as we start working all in, as hard as we can, our mission will sky rocket with improvement! And every apostle will want to come visit! He shared some pretty cool stories on how it happened to his mission when he was a mission leader in Russia! I just thought it was a pretty hype mentality!

This week we went on exchanges again! Sister Oja came to the Spanish area and I had to lead out the area! It was pretty cool, but it was also difficult! Going on exchanges is so fun because it's like a sleepover but… we have to go on exchanges with the STL’s who are English missionaries so when they come to our area they can't help teach or contact our friends because they don't speak Spanish. So when we go on exchanges it's practically whoever stays in our area has to do all the work for the day! I was super stressed about it, but we got it all worked out and it went pretty awesome!!
ZONE CONF! REUNITED!!

Friday was crazy,
It was the day after zone conference and Hermana Larsen and I are feeling hyped!!! So we decided to work super duper hard! Anyways, that led to a series of events! We met two new families to teach and they are seriously the coolest! One of the family's moms has a sister who is a member of the church, and she already had a Book of Mormon! She and her family are so on board to read it! They said this time they are gonna read it with a sincere heart and “ojos espirituales” which was my fav phrase ever! So big prayers for them!

Now to the crazy part of Friday.. this next part is scary, so Nana please skip over this paragraph. So Friday night, after one of our lessons fell through, we decided to go knock on a house that was marked on our map as “Latino from Walmart”. So, once we got to the house we realized it's 8:00pm and had to make a call.. (this is very important because God’s timing is so real). As we are making the call we see a latino with just a jacket (no shirt) walking from his house to his car, but he's wobbling pretty bad so we knew he was drunk. He then passes his car and we notice he is now zombie walking to our car.. and he's getting super close. Now we are screaming because.. we notice he is naked… guys I wanted to burn my eyeballs. I have been scarred. He was getting so close to the car, so I quickly started the car and zoomed out of there. But I really want to put an emphasis on God's timing. Our intention that night was to knock on his door, but I am so grateful we had to make a phone call in order to be presented that he definitely was not ready for a message. And God definitely kept us safe. This was the first time I have actually felt afraid on my mission, but I am so grateful that we were in the car and were able to get out safely!!! Blessing for reals!

Saturday, we met this woman named Christina! She is so cool! She has a whole family, a car, works at the high-school! She's so great!! We went in with the plan to solely teach about the atonement of Jesus Christ but while we were there we taught the whole restoration! We shared the first vision, and she started crying! And she said that it makes her emotional and feel closer to Christ! And then we even started getting into the plan of happiness which she was just LOVING! We had to stop and tell her we will go more in depth about the plan of happiness the next time we visit, and then she asked us when we could come by again… we told her any day she was free. She said summer break starts Friday and told us to come on Friday! Lol! She is seriously so cool. I am so excited for her!

Sunday was a little bit of a bust! Beautiful day but Antonio didn't come to church again.. :( so everyone pray for Antonio!! But Jose came again!!! 2nd week in a row! This is the same AA Leader Jose!!! Sooo we are super excited for him! He also kept making “jokes” asking when he can be baptized! Praying for big things!

My spiritual thought comes from zone conference! Elder Bennett was the best speaker ever! His mentality was amazing and he really hypes you up on missionary work! But my fav quote from him would have to be that “no missionary work is wasted” and it's so true! We are constantly planting seeds in every interaction we have. When someone turns us down or turns us away we just need to remember that at least we planted a seed! Their time may not be now, but the Lord has a plan for all! I read the best general conference talk called "Was it worth it"! I definitely recommend reading or listening to it this week!

Anyways, that's the update for ya in good ol mizzou! Miss you all so much! Email me! GOD IS SO GOOD 💗💗💗!
