Hey y'all what is up!! Coming at y'all live from STL city!!! Ayy! Another miraculous week!! We are so blessed!!

First off, I'm officially comp-less. Hermana Bruin is on a flight home at this very moment. She officially did it! As for me, I am with the STL’s for a couple days until transfers this Wednesday. They sent all the missionaries going home this transfer a couple days earlier in case they want to start fall semester. So now I'm just waiting for a new comp and maybe a new area. 🤷‍♀️ We find out tonight if I am staying or leaving!

This week was so stellar!! My district and I celebrated so hard for Sista Bruins last P-day! We hit Fitz which was so fun!! It's like a bottling company famous in STL! It was seriously so fun! You can get bottomless root beer and a bunch of root beer floats. So that's exactly the way my district and I celebrated after a killer game at bowling.. which I am no good at. I got a major yummy root beer float that caused some major consequences that night when I threw it up. :) So that wasn't fun!! After a super fun P-day, I didn't sleep at all and faced some serious problems because of my root beer float :(. So that meant Tuesday morning I was in bed all morning :(.

But that didn't stop me, after a quick morning recovery we went back out to the world. Where we then invited our friend Francisco to be baptized!! He's so awesome. He's come to church three weeks in a row and every week comes in a wolf spirit animal shirt. It's my fav. He's great!! We are pretty stoked about his baptism and planning for September 15th as of right now!!
We also had the opportunity to teach Ana the law of chastity where we asked her to marry her boyfriend!! Luckily, she's the absolute coolest and said she was planning on doing it before her baptism anyways, but she's just waiting on some legal permits!!! So we have been fasting and praying all week that these permits will come before the 15th of September!! But it was such a blessing and miracle that she reacted so positively to the law of chastity, now it has me absolutely pumped for the miracles God will perform in her life!!

Wednesday was so awesome too!! Everyone is so happy for Hermana Bruin for completing her mission so they've been taking us out to eat! And I just get to come along for the ride!! The senior couple, that I just love with my whole heart (the Motts), took us out to eat and it was to like this crazy gourmet restaurant. I felt like I was eating with the Allison's again (shout out Jack). It was crazy to be a missionary in this fancy place. The lights were dim, the candles were lit. We got to try some bomb STL famous toasted ravioli, which is actually bomb. Then we got some yummy dark chocolate creme brulee. It was seriously the yummiest and fanciest meal I've had in a hot minute!! I love the Motts so much!! Don't worry, y'all will meet them at my wedding, they said they'll be there!!

The pass off to my new temporary STL comps..

Y'all, I have to tell y'all about Ivonne!! She's the member that we knocked into a while ago!! We have been meeting with her weekly and we finally met with her husband who is also a member!! They fed us some yummmy taquitos for lunch on Saturday and got Sister Bruin a cake because she's heading home!!! But also huge miracles because they told us that they want to start having messages with their daughter, Eileen who is 8, to get baptized!!! And they want to be sealed in the temple as a family!!! How perfect is that!! Literally they are some of my fav people ever!

Also Saturday we got to attend an English baptism with Ana!! Seriously such a spiritual experience!! Baptisms are so much more fun on the mish because the people getting baptized are always beaming with joy!! In this baptism for the English ward, I had to translate to Ana everything that was going on which I thought would be a piece of cake.. but listening to them speak while trying to translate the previous sentence was so hard. They did not slow down.. so don't be mad but I might have just started bearing my own testimony a couple times. I hope she never finds out but it was a fire talk nonetheless!

Church was so bittersweet, Hermana Bruin gave a farewell testimony and then all the members were swarmin' us with love at the end. We also got so many sweet gifts from the members, like treats and food. Which Hna Bruin couldn't take with her on the plane, so our refriiii is stocked!!! But we got a solid turn out this week, Ana, Christina, and Francisco came to church again!!! They are the best!! We also got Guadalupe and her little family coming to church as well!! It was such a blessed Sunday! I love our branch so much! I'm so lucky to go to church with them each week!
I love the Tavarez family so much!!

This week for my spiritual thought I want to share another video with y'all! I just love these videos so much, they always get me sobbing.. But this one is a little more near and dear to my heart. My family always jokes with me because I thought this inspirational message was called “Good Times Are Ahead” when in reality it's called “Good Things To Come”.. but I feel like both titles apply. Here's a link to the video so y'all can watch it this week!

As I have mentioned many times I know that there are some blessings that we just need to hold out for, whether they come in a couple days, months, years, or even the next life. God has so many blessings that he has yet to pour upon us. It just proves how wonderful and merciful he is. It's easy to feel sorry for ourselves in moments of trials or hardships, but when you finally come out of the trials you realize the many blessings you've received from it, during it. My mission has literally stretched me, physically and emotionally but man am I so much stronger than I was 6 months ago. God has so many blessings in store for us and some right now that we don't see until later. Y'all, God loves each of us so much. He is actively blessing your life and if you don't see it now.. I can promise you will see it in the future!!

Each of y'all are my rock! Stay strong, kill it this week!! I love y'all! Always remember who you are, and what you stand for. God is sooo good!!
