This week was another tough week ahha!! But y'all I promise God's power is so strengthening!! This week we had a couple people drop us. I know I shouldn't take it personally because it's not me, but sometimes it just hurts… like I pour out my heart and soul and you reject it??? Goodness I could only imagine how Jesus and God feel!
On Friday we had a lesson near Indiana…. We would never ever go near Indiana but Elena has a family of five and she was talking about how her daughters are dying to meet the missionaries. So Friday night we drove out to Danville, Illinois!! We went to our lesson.. and ladies and gents.. they had to cancel on us.. like what? Lol, so we knocked her neighborhood and invited so many people to church!! Then for dinner we had Culvers custard and drove to Indiana just so we can say we have been!! It was def worth it. Then we got back out on the finding grind!

Talking bout the tough week… Saturday morning was especially tough… After a great friendshiping effort with our recent convert Josue he sent a text to us saying he is leaving the church… ouch! But I have been praying for him a lot and I kept receiving the impression of loving him back! So we will be working with so many members and try to help him feel the love that God has for him!
After the tough news I kinda just sat at my study desk… thinking “goodness what am I doing here?” But I press on! One of the doctrine principles we learn and promise at baptism is to endure to the end, and let me tell y'all that is a key principle for me right now! So I endure… and y'all, now comes the miracle of the week!!
We go out for our morning Saturday and we walk to our friend Munguia's house! Munguia sent us a text on Facebook that she used to go to church all the time but fell away because it was in English!! We got to Munguia's house and she was telling us all about how she has so many “mormon” family members and how she wants her and her daughter to start taking the lessons to prepare for baptism!! Seriously, they are an answer to my prayers. So we are now teaching Munguia and her daughter Maria Victoria (she's 12) and I am pumped!!

Angel is still doing absolutely marvelous!! We taught him the restoration this past weekend and we invited him to pray to know the truth. After sharing the first vision with him I felt prompted to ask him if he has ever seen a vision. He told us that he knows the church is true, he knows God answers prayers. We asked him how he came to know this and he said that he had been praying to know the truth and that's when he met the English missionaries! He said his life has been so blessed because of our meetings! We also taught him the word of wisdom.. which he has some struggles with, but he's so devoted and kept saying “lo hare” (i will do it)! He's legit so faith based it's incredible!! Everyone keep praying for Angel!! December 7th is going to be a blessed day! He also told the whole branch about his baptism on Sunday!!! Literally, I'm so excited!!!
Sunday morning I felt the prompting to invite Orquidea (a lady that was invited to be baptized in March) to church!! And guess what y'all… she pulled up to church with her two sons Charles and Alex for the first time ever!! So awesome!! She's so pumped for stake conference next week! Like what a miraculous Sunday!! Also Luis and Simon (our Indiana English class friends) both came to church!!! Literally soooo amazing!!

I just feel so blessed when our friends come to church!! This church is genuinely so amazing and brings me so much joy!! This week we had branch conference and the talks actually were so good, we got to hear from Presidente Concepcion (Branch Pres), and Presidente Bednar (Stake Pres)! It was awesome and my comp and I were talking about how entering the mission you start to listen to talks given in the sacrament meeting and how it would apply to our friends! And let me tell y'all I'm just so grateful for Jesus Christ! I know that as the talk focuses on Him, our friends can feel the Spirit! I know He truly lives and He saves! This past week while I was in the temple I could just feel the overwhelming love of my Savior Jesus Christ!! I feel extremely loved and blessed! I am so so especially grateful for this time I have to dedicate myself for Him!
“Listen to the voice of Jesus Christ, your Redeemer, the Great I Am, whose arm of mercy hath atoned for your sins; 2 Who will gather his people even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, even as many as will hearken to my voice and humble themselves before me, and call upon me in mighty prayer.”
I am so blessed for his arms of mercy for me and for those I share this gospel with! I love God and I love Jesus!!!
