Hey everyone!!!
Another week down, and it's almost April!!! Where in the world has time gone?! LIFE IS SOOO GOOD IN SPRINGFIELD!!!! 🌟🌟🌟
This week was good, but nothing too fancy happened!! Elizabeth and David are just my favorite humans ever and are getting ready for their baptisms in two weeks!
THEY ARE BOTH SOOOOO ACTIVE IN COMING TO CHURCH NOW!!!! Elizabeth (Lizzy—new nickname, lol) is now coming with our member friend Keanu! She came yesterday and loved it! She has even been making Gospel content on her TikTok, so I suggested we make one for Facebook, and we posted it yesterday! She’s so, so pure and HYPED for her baptism!
David is also trying to keep the commandments for his baptism, and I literally had the strongest prompting to promise him a BIG blessing! I’ve never really gone too far out there with my promised blessings, but I told him that if he can live the law of chastity, he will be married within the next six years! I’m really excited to see how and why I felt the prompting to say that! Prayers that he can continue to keep the commandments!

We have a new friend named Kaden who came to church last week and has been loving it!!! He also came to institute on Thursday! He’s super awesome and has a green Mohawk, so he’s quite literally the bomb! 😂 He also has a bit of a crush on a girl in the YSA, haha!! But whatever gets him baptized... jk, jk! He’s meeting with us and reading the Book of Mormon, so he’s AMAZING!
We had a BLITZ in Jacksonville, and it was major fun! We did a huge sleepover at their apartment. I am not a big sleepover girly, lol. Sleeping on a couch with another sister on the opposite end was not the greatest idea… I woke up literally every hour. But that did not stop our find grind! We were able to teach so many people! We also invited two people—Eric and Tim—to be baptized, and they both accepted! Their baptism date is set for April 20th!
I got to be with Sister Hughes again! She’s just finishing up her first transfer—so presh and such a hard worker. Sister Drake in their area invited us to do some yard work, and it was pretty fire doing a BLITZ with four sister missionaries!!! Many hands make light work! 🙌🙏 She also got us Steak ’n Shake! Fya!
ALSO, Y’ALL!!! We met the sweetest friend named Samantha! She’s the best!!! She used to be a Jehovah’s Witness, but she’s so excited about everything she’s learning! She even came to church yesterday and loved it!!! She’s praying about being baptized right now, so I’m so excited for her!!

Also, the Aguado girls came to church yesterday!!! Literally the biggest miracle ever. And it was perfect because we had a super yummy brisket linger-longer!!! Our whole church service was filled with major girl power because so many girls came! Y’all, this is a huge miracle because usually, it’s all guys, but God is gooooddd, and all the girls came!!
This YSA branch is literally the best thing that could have happened for me on my mission! These people have taught me so much about love, patience, and pure kindness. They have always had open hearts to the gospel of Jesus Christ and have been so willing to enter into a covenant with Him! The members are genuinely some of the funnest and most creative people I’ve ever met, and they never fail to support missionary work! I have seriously loved my time here!
This past week, I had the opportunity to study Jacob 5 in my personal study! And in Jacob 5, there’s a verse that says:
71 And the Lord of the vineyard said unto them: Go to, and labor in the vineyard, with your might. For behold, this is the last time that I shall nourish my vineyard; for the end is nigh at hand, and the season speedily cometh; and if ye labor with your might with me ye shall have joy in the fruit which I shall lay up unto myself against the time which will soon come.
To be sooo honest with everyone, I’ve been losing a lot of motivation to keep going! But I really wanted to change that mindset and sprint to the finish line! Sister Searle and I have talked about it so much, and one way we know the Book of Mormon is true is because every single day we read it, there’s a scripture or a feeling we receive for that specific day!
For example, when I first read this verse, I truly needed that motivation! It’s like a message from God each day on exactly what I need! I know that God will continue to nourish His vineyard! I know there are prepared people! I know God teaches and loves us personally and in ways we recognize Him! He manifests Himself in this work every single day! I’m so grateful for the joy I feel from our friends and the Spirit we teach and experience! There is so much joy in teaching people about our Savior, Jesus Christ!
I love y’all so much!!! Prayers up for transfer news tonight! God is so, so good!

Bella: Two months, and you are graduated!!! Yes!
Collins: HEY HEY GIRL! SEE YOU ON YOUR BIRTHDAY! WHOOP WHOOP!
Capri: Queen Capri, keep joining the FaceTime calls! I miss you!
Kash: Guess you’re gonna have to borrow Collins’ derby car!
Reese: Gosh, I can’t wait to see you!
