Hi y'alll!!! What a wild and yet very very fulfilling week it's been!!

Let's get right to it!! So Tuesday we took a trip to St Louie and were able to go to the temple with our recent convert Everett! Everett is blind and just got baptized. Going to the temple with him was genuinely so special, and we were able to describe how to baptize and he was just so pure about it! I just love the temple so much! I feel so much peace there! 🥰  Then we all celebrated and got Canes with the members on the way back up to Springfield, which was so lit!

Then skip to Thanksgiving… Thanksgiving was wild. We were running to meal appointments and I have never ever been more stuffed in my life. My comp and I literally stuffed stuffing in our pockets!! I will never forget this Thanksgiving! First we woke up early and headed to a service project where we made Thanksgiving meals. Then we went door to door delivering them! Refreshing to have people want to open their doors! JK, people are usually nice! Then our meals all started at 2:00pm, and by 8:00pm I felt like I was gonna die. I genuinely still feel like I'm gonna need to fast for 40 days in order to even try to lose the weight I def gained! #help!

The next day we had MLC (mission leadership council) so we took another trip down to St.Louis and got to meet with all the other ZL’s and STL’s in the mission with President and Sister Mckay and make goals and plans for the upcoming month! It was seriously one of the best and spirit filled meetings I've ever been too! The whole time my heart was just filled with the spirit of joy as we made goals to help others make covenants with Jesus Christ. I also got to see my besties Sis Fifita and Fairchild and I just about balled my eyes out! My literal angels! I love them!

After MLC we drove back up to Springfield and that night started an exchange w/ some of our sisters! I got to go on an exchange with Sister Walker in Litchfield, Illinois! And y'all the day we go on exchanges, Illinois just started dumping snow! It was snowing all day long and we knocked so many doors! I thought my toes were just gonna freeze off.  By hour 3 I couldn't feel my feet haha!! It was freezing!! Luckily, by the next day, all the snow melted, but I just can't believe I'm gonna have to live in a place that snows…crazy..

Then Sunday we had church! We got to enjoy an amazing fast and testimony meeting and our friends Andrew and Sharon came to church!! The testimonies were wonderful and Sister Roos and I were also asked to teach 2nd hour.. My missionary life has never been so busy! I feel like everyday is a marathon… hopefully I'm burning cals lol! Anyways, this upcoming week is gonna be kinda sad, we have to close down the area in order to start the YSA up. This basically means we are passing all of our friends over to the Elders. It's so sad! But low-key needed so we can get the YSA branch up and runnin'!! I'm so excited

This week as we taught our recent convert Gabe, we invited him to send us the verse of the day each day! This is what he sent to us on Tuesday before heading to the temple

“Hey ladies! Hope y'all had an amazing day! Sorry I took so long to respond! It's been a very busy day!
We have 2 VOTD (verses of the day)
Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
And 1st Nephi 4:1-18
The reason I chose these two is because often times we are faced with what seems impossible in life and it seems like we will never make it, but as long as we; rely on God and his plan for us, and do our best to obey and follow his will, I know things will work out!”

Gabe is truly so inspired, even when things get hard, we just need to remember to rely on God! He has a plan for us! He knows us! As we trust in Him and follow His guidance through commandments, we will be fortified! I highly encourage y'all to seek His guidance! Make His will your will!

Sorry this email was all over the place! I'm stoked to get the YSA up and running! God is so good and I'm reminded of that everyday I'm out here! Love you all so much! Pray that I don't freeze! I'm praying for 80 degree weather!🫠🤪
